Building Confidence Accreditation

Evans Concrete Products Ltd are pleased to announce that we have now received BuildingConfidence accreditation for the Design, Supply and Installation of bespoke precast concrete.

We succesfully completed the PQQ and audit stages and have received accredited status.

Chris Foster, Commercial Director said “we are delighted to have been accredited by Achilles under the Building Confidence scheme. The accreditation programme will give our customers confidence that we meet the high standards set by the stringent qualification process.”

Bespoke Black & White Precast Concrete Seating

Bespoke Precast Seating a Success!

Evans Concrete Products Ltd have recently completed the Design, Manufacture and Installation of bespoke precast concrete seating units at Brandon Street in Southwark, London for Durkan Ltd.

The project involved 94 individual seating units alternating black and white precast sections to achieve two areas of continuous, curved seating.

The overall effect was deemed to be a great success by both client and architect.

Evans Concrete Runs for Charity

Evans Concrete Products Ltd have entered a team into the Legends of Sherwood, 10k night run in aid of the Charity Steps. Steps are a small national charity supporting children and adults affected by a lower limb condition such as clubfoot or a hip condition.

On the 3rd March 2012 a team of 12 will don their headtorches and running gear to cover the 10k (ish)  off road course. The course involves river crossings, interspersed with natural and man made obstacles every kilometre. Competitors must tackle all the forest can throw at them, overcome steep banks, devilish hurdles and the occasional muddy patch.

Bespoke Precast Concrete Seating, Stevenage

We are currently manufacturing bespoke precast concrete seating units for the Town Centre redevelopment in Stevenage for Miletree Construction.

The project includes a bespoke precast concrete sculpture plinth and bespoke concrete seatingBespoke Precast Concrete Seating Unit which incorporates recessed lettering, acorns and leaves. The conical seat is manufactured in 2 pieces which are connected together using specialist stainless steel fixings. A stainless steel bench is then fixed to the concrete unit to form the seating area.

The seating unit will form the capping of a time capsule which will be buried underneath it.

This project allows us to display our skills in the manufacture of bespoke concrete units.

Precast Concrete Cladding at Finsbury Square

Evans Concrete Products Ltd have recently been awarded the Precast Concrete Cladding package for the redevelopment of 3&10 Finsbury square in London for Felix UK Ltd who are working for Sir Robert McAlpine.

Commercial Director, Chris Foster commented “This is a fantastic project which we are very proud to be involved with, we are looking forward to working alongside Felix UK to deliver the Facade package to Sir Robert McAlpine. We hope to develop a strong working relationship with Felix UK and forward this onto future projects”

Casting is due to begin in March 2012 with installation commencing early 2013.

Precast Concrete Flag Bases

Evans Concrete Products Ltd have recently secured a contract to supply 1500 precast concrete flag bases to Icon/SLS Limited.

Specialist assemblies are delivered to the factory ready to be cast into units utilising recycled aggregate to meet sustainability requirements.

Precast Concrete Benches at M&S Cheshire Oaks

We are currently installing precast concrete bench units at the new Marks & Spencer’s store at Cheshire Oaks retail park for Simons Construction. The project involves precast concrete bench/planter units which have the M&S logo cast into the rear. We are also providing bespoke architectural stair and cladding units.
